Discounts for low-income pet owners
For low income pet owners currently on government assistance, we are able to discount your cat or dog’s surgery cost to $20. Proof of government assistance is required at your appointment. Limit 2 pets per owner, per calendar year.
Specific Donor Funds and Grants
For Frayser residents only
Thanks to generous funding from the SPCA of Memphis and board president, Cathy Simmons, we are offering a voucher program for Frayser residents (zip code 38127) to have their dog spayed or neutered for FREE! To qualify, you must be on some form of government assistance (food stamps, social security, Medicaid, etc) and have proof of Frayser residency. Owner must also show their dog is current on their rabies vaccine, or they will need to vaccinate on the day of the spay/neuter appointment for $15.
For senior citizens, 60 years and older:
Thanks to generous funding from the H.W. Durham Foundation, we are offering $20 spay/neuter for senior citizens aged 60 years and above. Proof of age must be shown at appointment to qualify. Limit to 2 pets per owner.
