The following services can be added to your pet’s spay or neuter appointment if requested. Only the pre-op blood work for dogs and cats age 7 years and above is required. Prices reflect an increase effective January 1, 2025. Additional services are only available at the time of a spay/neuter surgery.
DOG Additional Services:
- Rabies Vaccine: $15 (pet must be at least 3 months old; lasts one year)
- Rabies Tag: $1 (can only be purchased alongside Rabies vaccine; does not serve as a city/county license)
- DAPP Vaccine: $15 (Protects against Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus; lasts one year for adult dogs, puppies need 3-4 rounds to be fully protected) OR DAPP+ Leptospirosis Vaccine: $30 (Protects against all 4 virulent Leptospira serovars as well as DAPP; must be boosted in 2-4 weeks to be effective, given annually after the booster)
- Bordatella Vaccine: $15 (Protects against Kennel cough: lasts one year)
- Heartworm Test: $20 (dog must be at least 6 months old)
- With heartworm test, our clinic does offer Proheart12 for dogs at least a year old or we can approve up to one year of preventative from any online pharmacy as long as the request is made within 30 days of test.
- Pre-Op Blood Work: $45 (REQUIRED & ONLY for pets age 7+ years old)
- Blood Work: $75 (for pets under 7 years old whose owner would like a blood work performed, may be performed under sedative if pet is fractious)
- Deworming: $5 (Pyrantel – general dewormer for roundworms and hookworms)
- Flea/Tick Preventative: $10 (Vectra 3D, topical, lasts for one month)
- Tapeworm Treatment: $45 (Praziquantel injection)
- Microchip: $25 (includes lifetime registration)
- Post-Op Sedative: $5 (Trazodone, 7 day supply to keep pet calm while recovering)
CAT Additional Services:
- Rabies Vaccine: $15 (pet must be at least 3 months old; lasts one year)
- Rabies Tag: $1 (can only be purchased alongside Rabies vaccine; does not serve as a city/county license)
- Microchip: $25 (includes lifetime registration)
- FVRCCP Vaccine: $15 (Protects against Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia, and Chlamydia; lasts one year for adult cats, kittens need 3-4 rounds to be fully protected) OR FVRCCP + Feline Leukemia Vaccine: $30 (Protects against Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia, Chlamydia and Feline Leukemia; Testing for FeLV is required; Booster required in 3-4 weeks for vaccine to be effective. Given annually after booster)
- FeLV/FIV Snap Test: $25
- Heartworm Test: $20 (cat must be at least 6 months old)
- With heartworm test, we can approve up to one year of preventative from any online pharmacy as long as the request is made within 30 days of the test.
- Pre-Op Blood Work: $45 (REQUIRED & ONLY for pets 7+ years old )
- Blood Work: $75 (for pets under 7 years old whose owner would like a blood work preformed, may be preformed under sedation if pet is fractious)
- Flea/Tick Preventative/Deworming Combo: $10 (Selamectin/Revolt, lasts one month)
- Deworming only: $5 (Pyrantel – general dewormer for roundworms and hookworms)
- Tapeworm treatment: $10 (Praziquantel injection) (OR Profender $15, topical and used if service is added after recovery and cat is fractious)
- E-collar: $5 OR Recovery suit: $15 (recovery suit only for female cats)
- Cardboard Cat Carriers: $5 each (cats must be in separate carriers)
