Grant/Donor Funding

All grant/donor funding is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Grant funding is for individually owned pets only. This means grants cannot be used by rescue groups, shelters, breeders, etc. The availability of grants/donor funding may change at any time. No grant/donor funding is guaranteed until the appointment is confirmed. Must mention grant when making the appointment. Grant funding cannot be used for feral cats, rabbits, or pigs unless otherwise specified. Grant funds cannot be combined – only one grant fund can be used per pet. Spay Memphis reserves the right to not approve grant funding for pets purchased from breeders or pet stores.

NEW – some grant funding is listed as a “waitlist grant”. This means funding is this grant is depleted or almost depleted. You can choose to be added to the waitlist for this funding and if it becomes available by your appointment date, it will be applied. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE OF FUNDING IF YOU ASK FOR A GRANT LABELED AS A WISHLIST GRANT TO BE APPLIED.

Spay Memphis reserves the right to limit the number of pets per pet owner/household that can use grant funding, especially when grant funding is low. Grant funds are limited & should only be used if you have a genuine need & our already discounted prices are beyond your financial ability.

♦ Pet Owners who Live in 38016, 38109, 38122, and 38127

Thanks to a generous grant from PetSmart Charities, we are able to offer pet owners in the highest shelter intake zip codes (38016, 38109, 38122, & 38127) a special discounted pricing for their pets! This grant provides the spay/neuter surgery, microchip, rabies vaccine, and DAPP (dogs) / FVRCCP (cats) vaccine for only $60 for dogs and $40 for cats. This is for dogs and cats only and cannot be combined with any other grant funding. If your pet is already microchipped or up to date on vaccines, please let us know when scheduling that your pet does not need this service, however, it does not change the pricing when using this grant. Appointments are required and you must choose to add the grant funding when scheduling. Pet owner’s address must be in one of the four zip codes mentioned above. This funding can only be used during a spay/neuter appointment.
